“The Napa County Board of Supervisors played a role in a settlement between Water Audit California and Arrow&Branch Winery, but with reservations.
Water Audit California appealed to the board a December decision by the Planning Commission allowing Arrow&Branch north of Napa to grow. Among other things, the group claimed the county didn’t do enough to assure well pumping by the winery isn’t hurting Dry Creek.
But Water Audit California and the winery reached a confidential settlement. Their agreement included having the county approve additional conditions, such as requiring more frequent well data reporting to the county.
